American Express Global Transfer lets existing cardholders in ~31 participating countries apply for a U.S. card using their home-country relationship — typically the fastest legitimate route to a U.S. personal credit file. Confirmed corridors include the UK, Canada, Australia, India, Mexico, Nigeria, Kenya, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic.
The builder path
Almost everyone else — we cover 190+ countries — builds through the secured-and-builder route: ITIN, then secured cards and credit-builder products reporting to the bureaus, graduating to unsecured credit as the file matures. Slower, but it works — and your business credit build runs in parallel either way.
