🇬🇭From Ghana to a U.S. business life

Your route from Ghana: Secured-and-builder path. Realistic timelines, banking that actually opens, and the package we'd start with — every price public.

Secured-and-builder path6–12 months to a working U.S. personal credit file

Ghana's fintech-friendly regulation and large U.S. diaspora make it one of the most active West African corridors for U.S. company formation.

Your path from Ghana

Secured-and-builder path

Credit route

American Express doesn't currently list your country for Global Transfer, so your route is the secured-and-builder path: ITIN first, then a secured U.S. card and credit-builder products reporting to the bureaus, graduating to unsecured cards as the file matures. It works reliably — it simply takes longer than the Amex shortcut.

Realistic timeline

6–12 months to a working U.S. personal credit file; 12–18 months to a strong business credit profile.

Banking from Ghana

Fintech business banking (Mercury, Relay) is possible with an LLC, EIN, and passport, but expect enhanced KYC: clean, well-documented source of funds is the gating factor. We prepare the documentation pack with you before any application. Ghana's e-commerce and remittance corridors are well understood by U.S. fintechs — approvals are routine with clean paperwork.

The premium shortcut

Because the secured path takes 12–18 months to a strong business file, the premium route matters most from your country: acquire an operating U.S. business ($25,000–$500,000, fewer than five available at a time) and the established history — including the business credit file — transfers at close. No waiting on seasoning.

Faster route — ~90 days

The builder path from Ghana works — it just takes time. If speed matters, two routes can compress the timeline to roughly 90 days: the Business Acquisition route (an operating U.S. business transfers its established history at close) and the Earned Credibility path. Both are case-by-case — eligibility and fit are confirmed on a call, never assumed.

~3 months

Bars are proportional to time-to-a-strong-business-file. The fast track compresses the wait by transferring or accelerating established history rather than seasoning a new file.

How you pay from Ghana — legally

Ghana gives every resident documented amounts via your bank under the documented service payments — usable for legal foreign payments, including our services and your U.S. investments. Everything in our Foundation and credit tiers fits comfortably inside it. For bigger moves — an acquisition, a larger investment — the Bank of Ghana registration for capital transfers applies, and we're straight with you about its lead time and plan it into your deal from day one. Every transfer goes through your own bank, documented, in your name — the way the rules were written.

American Express doesn't issue cards in Ghana, so there's no Global Transfer shortcut — and we won't pretend otherwise. We build your U.S. credit file the direct way: ITIN, the right starter cards, vendor lines, and clean payment history. It takes months, not days. It's also entirely real, in your own name, and it compounds — which is the point.

Exchange-control rules move. We verify Ghana's current position live in your first consultation — before we quote you anything.

Our compliance line — every country, no exceptions

We only work inside your country's rules. Every payment route we accept is a legal one — through your bank, documented, in your own name. If the only way to do something is to go around your central bank, we don't do it, and we'll tell you so in the first conversation. That's not a limitation. It's why what we build for you survives.
